Re: What movies have you seen lately?
The last movie I saw in theaters was Fool's Gold. It was pretty good, had its funny parts and had its lame parts. Still a good movie though.
I want to see There Will Be Blood. I have yet to see it, but hopefully I can change that soon.

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
I haven't seen any movies in the theater in a while. I guess the last one I saw was National Treasure 2

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
I didn't really care for that one all too much. I mean, it was basically the same thing, Ben does all the work, while the bad guy follows along. I liked the first one better.STupendous wrote:I haven't seen any movies in the theater in a while. I guess the last one I saw was National Treasure 2
Re: What movies have you seen lately?
Yeah, I agree with you completely. The only think that I liked about the second one was that they got to travel all over the world a bit more. But it was still very similar.MooKoo wrote:I didn't really care for that one all too much. I mean, it was basically the same thing, Ben does all the work, while the bad guy follows along. Re: What movies have you seen lately?
I have to disagree with y'all on the National Treasure 2 thing--I liked the 2nd one MUCH better than the first. I couldn't sit through the first one, it was boring to me. But the 2nd was actually intriguing. To me at least.
Have any of you seen Cloverfield? I saw that and thought it was pretty cool!
How about P.S. I Love You -- que romantico! :D
And Horton Hears A Who was okay in the beginning but I loved the ending.
Alvin and the Chipmunks -- cute, but I can't stand the soundtrack. Haha...

To each his/her own.
I want to see Cloverfield, but I have yet to see it. Now I'm going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
Although I didn't see it in theaters, I recently saw Batman Begins. It was pretty cool, except it was a bit creepy in some parts. :affraid:

I'm kind of excited for Dark Knight! Anyone know what it's rated though?

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
Man, I'm a fan of super hero movies as much as the next guy, but Spiderman IV? Come on, this just getting ridiculous. Also, another Hulk remake? How original![/sarcasm] Come on and write something worth watching Hollywood.
Dark Knight looks promising though. All of the Batman movies have been quite the awesome sauce, with the exception of maybe two.

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
why not have a 4th spiderman? There's so many villans they can use and they have to do the lizard because they've already introduced dr.connors, who becomes the lizard

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
Its not the superhero vs villain aspect that is dieing. Its the story of Peter that isn't as great as I think it could be. All the Spiderman movies have been really good, but its not going to last much longer.silent wulf wrote:why not have a 4th spiderman? I didn't like the last one at all. But then again, I've never really gotten into the Superhero movies except X-Men.
Re: What movies have you seen lately?
The second Spiderman was my least favorite, but the third I really enjoyed.TornadoChaser wrote:MooKoo wrote:All the Spiderman movies have been really good, but its not going to last much longer.

X-men, I didn't really get into it.
Re: What movies have you seen lately?
I saw Prince Caspian a couple of days ago. It was pretty good, except it deviated from the book in many ways. It also added some stuff and took some stuff out. But the battles were well done.

Don't Mess With the Zohan
Please everyone, do not waste your time or money on this film. It has its funny moments, but the movie just plainly...sucked. Not to mention it was probably the most perverted movie I have ever seen.
Its not the same Adam Sandler quality entertainment you would expect. Please, Mr. Sandler, don't stoop this low ever again.

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
I saw Cloverfield. It was meh-ish. It had absolutely no resolution of the plot, it was a bit unrealistic, it didn't have much of a story (I mean, "Monsters in New York, oh snap, let's all run away" has been done too many times). The monster was cool though.

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
I finally got around to watching 'Saints & Soldiers' today. I have been meaning to watch it for the longest time, and I must say I'm not really dissappointed, most low-budget movies are so bad you just can't stand to watch 'em really, but this one was really really good if you ask me. The acting was good, and the special effects weren't crap, but they weren't Lord of the Rings either. lol Plus, it's a war movie, so the story is really really good. Definitely watch it when you get the chance. :)

Re: What movies have you seen lately?
Saw this one a while back as well, pretty good film. Lotsa' action, but does kinda' give away who is talking to them on the phone too soon in my opinion.silent wulf wrote:I saw eagle eye last night It was loud and lots of action. I definetly recomend it.

I agree. I'm a big Shia Lebouf fan but I found it to be too predictable. Although, I did love the State of the Union part!!
I saw "He's Just Not That Into You" this past weekend. I thought it was cute, a major chick flick, and in the beginning a little boring. The themes were as fresh as you could probably get them when it comes to a chick flick--girl meets guy, girl will eventually fall for guy in some way or another. It wraps up just how you would expect, but it was cute and sometimes VERY funny along the way.
